Please join us on Sunday, October 6 at 5:00-7:00pm in the West Conference Room (2nd floor) of the National Humanities Center for the second French History & Culture Seminar of this academic year. This session will feature a discussion with Charles Ludington, Teaching Associate Professor of History at North Carolina State University. We’ll be discussing Chad’s article, “Inventing Grand Cru Claret: Irish Wine Merchants
in Eighteenth-Century Bordeaux,” which is currently available on the password-protected Papers page of this website. Please contact a co-convener for this month’s password.

Please feel free to share this announcement with interested colleagues and graduate students. We look forward to seeing you!
