Please join us Sunday, December 5 at 5:00pm on Zoom for a discussion with Emily Voelker, Assistant Professor of Art History at UNC-Greensboro’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. We’ll be discussing Emily’s draft chapter “Geographic Imaginaries: Photographic Encounters with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West in Paris, 1889,” from her book-in-progress, Circulating Pictures / Contested Geographies: Photography, Native American Sovereignty & the French Atlantic Imaginary. The paper and accompanying images are currently available on the password-protected Papers page of this website. Please contact a co-convener for this month’s password and Zoom meeting link.
We look forward to seeing you!
